Salacia platyphylla (also called 'Broad-leaved Salacia', among many other common names) is a shrub native to India, Sri Lanka, and the Andaman Islands. It grows in evergreen forests, and is characterized by its opposite, ovate leaves and its yellowish-white flowers.
