Maytenus cochlearifolia (also called 'Spoon-leaved Mayten', among many other common names) is a small shrub found in tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas. It has a single, narrow, pointed leaf and a single, small, white flower. It is found in moist, shady forests, often growing in rocky soils or on hillsides.
