Description
Lysipomia wurdackii (also called Wurdack's Lysipomia, among many other common names) is an annual herb in the bellflower family. It is native to the southeastern United States, where it is found in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. It grows in moist, sandy soils in open woods, meadows, and roadsides.
Cultivation and Propagation
Lysipomia wurdackii is a shrub that is native to tropical and subtropical regions of South America. It is typically grown in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. Propagation is usually done by cuttings, but it can also be grown from seed. It is drought tolerant and does not require much maintenance.
