Syrrhopodon hispidocostatus (also called Hispid-costate Spike-moss, among many other common names) is a small, evergreen, perennial plant native to the Americas, from Mexico to Argentina. It grows in moist, shady areas, such as in forests, along streams and in moist meadows.
