Description
Micranthocereus hofackerianus (also called 'Hofacker's Hedgehog Cactus', among many other common names) is a small, succulent, perennial cactus with a creeping habit. It is native to the Western Cape Province of South Africa and is found in rocky, sandy soils in the fynbos and renosterveld vegetation types.
