Description
Buxus revoluta (also called Japanese Boxwood, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub or small tree native to Japan, Taiwan, and the Ryukyu Islands. It typically grows to a height of 2-3 m (6-10 ft) and has small, leathery, glossy, dark green leaves. It prefers moist, well-drained soils in partial shade and is often used as a hedge or topiary in gardens.
