Description
Buxus myrica (also called African boxwood, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Buxaceae. It is native to tropical Africa, from Senegal east to Sudan and Ethiopia, south to Angola and Mozambique. It grows in a variety of habitats, including dry and moist forests, woodlands, and grasslands.
