                        Description
                        
                            Tillandsia punctulata (also called Pointed Tillandsia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Bromeliaceae. It is an epiphytic plant with rosettes of leaves up to 30 cm long. It is native to tropical Central and South America. It is found in lowland and montane rainforest, as well as in disturbed habitats such as roadsides and riverbanks.

                            Tillandsia punctulata is used in the production of timber, furniture, and oil. It is also used for medicinal purposes, such as treating fever, headaches, and stomach problems.
