                        Description
                        
                            Tillandsia hotteana (also called Slipperwort, Pocketbook Plant, and Lady's Purse, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant that is native to the Andes Mountains in South America. It has bright yellow flowers with a pouch-like shape and long, thin leaves. It grows in moist, shady areas such as mountain forests and meadows.
