                        Description
                        
                            Tillandsia crocata (also called Scarlet Airplant, among many other common names) is an epiphytic plant that grows up to 10 cm tall. It is native to Mexico, Central America, and South America. It is found in tropical moist forests, tropical wet forests, and subtropical moist forests.

                            Tillandsia crocata is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a source of food and fuel.
