                        Description
                        
                            Tillandsia comarapaensis (also called Comarapa Tillandsia, among many other common names) is an epiphytic plant that grows up to 20 cm tall. It has thin, wiry stems and small, narrow leaves. It is native to the Caribbean, Central and South America, and grows in tropical and subtropical moist forests.                         
                     
                                
                                    
                        Uses & Benefits
                        
                            Tillandsia comarapaensis is used as an ornamental plant, as well as for its air-purifying properties. It can also be used as a natural air freshener.

                            Tillandsia comarapaensis has bright red, tubular flowers that bloom in the summer. The seed is a small, black, round seed.                         Cultivation and Propagation
                        
                            Tillandsia comarapaensis is an epiphytic bromeliad that is native to Bolivia. It is an easy plant to grow and propagate. It can be grown in a pot with a well-draining potting mix or mounted on a piece of wood or bark. It prefers bright, indirect light and should be kept in temperatures between 60-80°F (15-27°C). Propagation is done by division or by taking cuttings from the mother plant.
