                            Hylaeaicum peruvianum (also called Peruvian hylaea, among many other common names) is a shrub native to South America. It has a woody stem with alternate, ovate leaves and produces white flowers. It is found in dry forests and scrublands.

                            Hylaeaicum peruvianum is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a houseplant.
