Description

Guzmania lingulata (also called Scarlet Star, among many other common names) is a perennial evergreen flowering plant native to the tropical forests of Central and South America. It has a rosette of glossy, leathery leaves and a tall, central flower spike with red or yellow flowers. It prefers warm, humid climates and grows best in partial shade.
