                        Description
                        
                            Guzmania elvallensis (also called El Valle Guzmania, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Bromeliaceae family. It is native to Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. It is found in tropical moist montane forests, at elevations of 1,000–2,000 m.                        
                     
                                
                                    
                        Uses & Benefits
                        
                            Guzmania elvallensis is used in traditional medicine for treating fever, headaches, and as an anti-inflammatory.                             The flower of Guzmania elvallensis is a bright pink bract with yellowish-green petals.                             Guzmania elvallensis is a terrestrial bromeliad native to Colombia and Venezuela. It is an epiphytic plant that grows in humid tropical forests. It can be propagated by division or by seed. To cultivate, it should be planted in a well-draining soil mix and kept in a warm, humid environment with bright, indirect light.
