Description

Fosterella robertreadii (also called Robert Read's fosterella, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Bromeliaceae family. It is native to Brazil, and is found in dry, rocky habitats. It is a small herbaceous plant that grows to a height of 10–20 cm.

Uses & Benefits

Fosterella robertreadii is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a hedge plant. It is also used for its medicinal properties in traditional African medicine.
