                        Description
                        
                            Fosterella elviragrossiae (also called Elvira Grossi's fosterella, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Bromeliaceae family. It is native to Brazil, and is found in dry, rocky habitats. It is a small herbaceous plant that grows to a height of 10–20 cm.                        
                     
                                
                                    
                        Uses & Benefits
                        
                            Fosterella elviragrossiae is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a hedge plant. It is also used for its medicinal properties in traditional African medicine.                        
                     
                                
                                                    
                        Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
                        
                            Fosterella elviragrossiae has small, white flowers with five petals and yellow anthers. Its seeds are small, black and round.                         Cultivation and Propagation
                        
                            Fosterella elviragrossiae is best propagated from seed. Plant the seeds in well-draining soil and keep them in a warm, sunny location.
