Description

Deuterocohnia brevispicata (also called Short-Spiked Bromeliad, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to South America. It has a woody base and grows up to 30 cm tall. It has hairy stems and leaves, and its flowers are small and yellow. It grows in rocky and sandy soils, and is usually found in dry grasslands and scrublands.
