Description
Catopsis floribunda (also called Many-flowered Catopsis, among many other common names) is an epiphytic plant with a creeping habit. It is native to Central and South America and grows in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests.
Uses & Benefits
Catopsis floribunda is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a houseplant. It is also used in aquariums to provide oxygen and to reduce nitrates.

Catopsis fulgens has small, yellow flowers that are arranged in a spike. The seeds are small and dark brown in colour. The seedlings are small and have a single leaf.
