                            Androlepis fragrans (also called Fragrant Androlepis, among many other common names) is a perennial shrub native to Brazil. It has ovate leaves and produces small, bright purple flowers. It typically grows in sunny, dry areas and is found in meadows, grasslands, and rocky slopes.

                        Cultivation and Propagation
                        
                            Androlepis fragrans is a fast-growing, evergreen shrub that can reach up to 4 m in height. It is best grown in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil. Propagation is by seed or cuttings. Seeds should be sown in a well-drained, sandy soil mix and kept moist until germination.
