                        Description
                        
                            Alcantarea pataxoana (also called Pataxoana Vriesea, among many other common names) is a terrestrial bromeliad that grows up to 1.5 meters tall. It is native to the Atlantic Forest of Brazil and is found in humid montane forests.

                            Alcantarea pataxoana is an ornamental plant that is often used in landscaping and gardens.
