                            Alcantarea glaucifolia (also called Glaucous Alcantarea, among many other common names) is an herbaceous perennial that grows up to 0.5 meters tall. It is native to Central and South America, and is found in humid and wet forests. Its leaves are alternate, lanceolate, and have entire margins.
