Murbeckiella zanonii (also called Zanon's Murbeckiella, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Mexico and Central America. It has a creeping rhizome, and its stems are triangular in cross-section. Its leaves are linear, and its inflorescences are composed of many spikelets. It grows in moist soils, along streams, and in wet meadows.
