Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Brachythecium negrii has small, yellowish-green flowers that grow in clusters. The seeds are small and black, and the seedlings are small and green with a single, long leaf.
Cultivation and Propagation
Brachythecium negrii can be propagated by division or by sowing seeds. Cultivation is best done in a moist, well-drained soil in a sunny position. It is an evergreen, low-growing, mat-forming perennial that typically grows to 4-6” tall and spreads to 12” wide.
