Brachythecium laevipes has small, yellowish-green flowers, with a single ovule in each ovary. The seeds are small, with a thin coat and a small embryo. The seedlings are small, with a single cotyledon.
Cultivation and Propagation
Brachythecium laevipes is a terrestrial moss that grows in moist, shady areas. It can be propagated by division of the thallus or by spores. When propagating by spores, the spores should be sown on a moist, sterile medium and kept in a warm, humid environment until the plants are established.
