Description
Lithospermum californicum (also called California Puccoon, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant that grows up to 30 cm tall. It is native to the western United States and Canada, and is found in dry, rocky, open woods and prairies. The plant has narrow, lance-shaped leaves and small, yellow-orange flowers.
