Description
Ehretia moluccana (also called Moluccan Ehretia, among many other common names) is a small tree or shrub with a rounded crown and a short trunk. It is native to China, India, and Southeast Asia, and typically grows in forests, thickets, and along roadsides. It has small, ovate leaves, white flowers, and small, round, red fruits.
Cultivation and Propagation
Ehretia moluccana is a fast-growing shrub that can reach up to 4 m in height. It prefers well-drained soils and full sun. Propagation is by seed or cuttings. Seeds should be sown in spring or summer, and cuttings should be taken in late summer or early autumn.
