Description

Cynoglossum krasniqii (also called Krasniqi's Forget-me-not, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant native to Central and Eastern Europe. It has a hairy stem and grows to a height of up to 40 cm. It has lanceolate leaves and small, bright blue flowers. It grows in sunny, dry and rocky habitats.

Cultivation and Propagation

Cynoglossum krasniqii can be propagated by seed or division. Seeds should be sown in spring in a cold frame and the seedlings planted out in the summer. Division in spring or autumn. Larger divisions can be planted out direct into their permanent positions. We have found it best to pot up the smaller divisions and grow them on in a lightly shaded position in a cold frame, planting them out once they are well established in the summer.
