Description
                        
                            Alkanna chrysanthiana (also called Golden Alkanna, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Boraginaceae family. It is native to Turkey and is found in dry, rocky habitats. It has a basal rosette of narrow, pointed leaves and produces a cluster of yellow, four-petaled flowers in summer.

                            The flower of Alkanna chrysanthiana is a small, yellow, bell-shaped flower with 6 petals. The seed is a small, black, round berry.                             Alkanna chrysanthiana is an evergreen, perennial, climbing shrub with glossy, oval leaves and tubular, two-lipped, yellow flowers in spring and summer. It can be propagated from cuttings taken in spring or summer, or from seed. It prefers a well-drained, humus-rich soil in partial shade.
