Description
Breutelia rhythidioides (also called Rhythmic Bristle-moss, among many other common names) is a species of moss in the family Hypnaceae. It is found in North America, Europe, and Asia. It grows in moist, shady areas, such as in forests, on rocks, and on the ground.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
The flowers of Breutelia rhythidioides are small, yellowish-green and clustered in terminal spikes. The seeds are small and black, and the seedlings are slender and have a single cotyledon.
