Description
Diplazium tutense (also called Tut Fern, among many other common names) is a species of fern in the family Dryopteridaceae. It is a terrestrial fern, with a rhizome that is erect and covered with brown scales. It is native to Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean, and is found in tropical and subtropical moist montane forests.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
The flower of Diplazium tutense is small and inconspicuous, usually greenish-brown in color. The seed is a small, brown, oval-shaped spore. The seedlings are small, with a single pair of cotyledons.
