Description
Asplenium oblongifolium (also called 'Oblongifolium Asplenium', among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to North America. It has a rosette of spiny leaves and a tall, branched stem. It grows in grasslands, meadows, and disturbed areas.
Cultivation and Propagation
Asplenium oblongifolium can be propagated by division of the rhizomes, or by sowing spores. The rhizomes should be divided in spring or autumn, and planted in a well-draining, humus-rich soil. Spores should be sown in a sterile, well-draining soil mix and kept in a warm, humid environment until germination occurs.
