Description
Asplenium lepturus (also called the Slender Spleenwort, among many other common names) is a species of fern native to the tropical rainforests of India and Sri Lanka. It has a slender stem, reaching up to 1 meter in height, with bright green, lanceolate fronds. It is found growing in moist, shady areas, such as along stream banks and in ravines.

The fronds are simple, with a length of 30-60 cm and a width of 5-10 cm. The sori are round and covered with indusia. Propagation is by spores or division of the rhizome.
