Description
Asplenium bifrons (also called Bifrons Spleenwort, among many other common names) is a fern species native to Central and South America. It is a small to medium-sized fern with a creeping rhizome, and fronds that are lanceolate to ovate in shape. It grows in moist, shady habitats, often near streams.

Asplenium bifrons has small, white flowers with four petals. Its seeds are small, black and round. The seedlings are small and have two cotyledons.
