Description
Asplenium argentinum (also called Argentine spleenwort, among many other common names) is a species of fern in the Aspleniaceae family. It is native to Central America, the Caribbean, and northern South America. It grows in moist, shady areas, often in limestone soils.

Asplenium argentinum has small, yellow-green flowers with a single pistil and 6 stamens. Its seeds are small and round, and the seedlings have a single, long, narrow leaf.
