Cultivation and Propagation
Polygonatum orientale is a fast-growing, evergreen shrub that can reach up to 26 feet in height. It prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. It can be propagated from seed or cuttings. To propagate from seed, sow the seeds in a well-draining mix and keep moist. To propagate from cuttings, take semi-ripe cuttings in the summer and root them in a well-draining mix. Keep the cuttings in a warm, humid environment until they root.
