Description

Ornithogalum umbratile (also called Star-of-Bethlehem, among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to South Africa. It grows to a height of 30-45 cm and has a clumping habit. Its leaves are linear and its flowers are white with yellow centers. It is found in grasslands and open woodlands in the southern part of the continent.
