Chlorophytum transvaalense (also called Transvaal Spider Plant, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Africa. It has long, thin, green leaves and small white flowers. It grows in moist, shady areas, such as forests and grasslands.

Chlorophytum transvaalense is a low-growing, spreading, evergreen perennial with long, slender, arching stems and small, lance-shaped, bright green leaves.
