                        Description
                        
                            Agave cocui (also called Cocui agave, among many other common names) is a perennial succulent plant native to Mexico. It is an evergreen shrub with a rosette of fleshy, spiny-edged leaves. It typically grows in dry, rocky areas and is drought-tolerant.                        
                     
                                
                                    
                        Uses & Benefits
                        
                            Agave cocui is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a food source. Its leaves can be used to make rope and paper.                        
                     
                                
                                                    
                        Flower, Seeds and Seedlings

                        Cultivation and Propagation
                        
                            Agave cocui can be propagated from seed, offsets, or division. Seeds should be sown in a well-draining soil mix and kept moist.
