                        Description
                        
                            Copernicia longiglossa (also called 'Long-tongued Copernicia', among many other common names) is a tall palm tree that grows up to 15 m tall. It is native to Brazil, and is found in dry, open savannas and seasonally flooded grasslands. It has a grey-brown trunk with a smooth texture, and its leaves are fan-shaped, and are bright green in colour.
