Ilex amelanchier (also called Amelanchier Holly, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub or small tree that grows up to 15 feet tall. It has dark green, glossy leaves and produces small white flowers in the spring. It is native to the southeastern United States and is commonly found in moist woodlands and along streams.
