Oxypetalum melinioides is a small, evergreen shrub that can reach up to 1 m in height. It can be propagated from seed, cuttings, or air layering. Seeds should be sown in a well-drained, fertile soil mix and kept moist. Cuttings should be taken from mature, healthy plants and rooted in a moist, well-drained soil mix. Air layering can be done by cutting a branch and wrapping it in moist sphagnum moss until roots form.
