                            Matelea medusae is a fast-growing, evergreen, perennial shrub that can reach up to 3 m in height. It can be propagated by seed or cuttings. Cuttings should be taken from semi-hardwood stems in late summer or early autumn and rooted in a well-drained, sandy soil mix. Keep the cuttings in a warm, humid environment until they have rooted.
