Description
Xanthosia candida (also called 'White Xanthosia', among many other common names) is an herbaceous plant up to 1 m tall. It is native to tropical Asia, from India to the Philippines, and it grows in humid forests at elevations up to 1,500 m.
Uses & Benefits
Xanthosia candida has been used in traditional medicine to treat fever, stomach problems, and malaria. It is also used as an insect repellent and as a flavoring in food.
