Cultivation and Propagation

Sium serra is a hardy perennial that is easy to propagate from seed. Sow the seeds in the spring in a sunny location. The seeds should be planted in well-drained soil and kept moist. Once the seedlings have emerged, thin them out to allow for adequate spacing between plants. The plants will reach a mature height of up to 2 feet and should be spaced at least 12 inches apart. Once established, the plants will require little maintenance and can be left to grow without additional care.

Where to Find Sium serra

Sium serra can be found in the temperate regions of Europe, including the UK, and also in parts of Asia.
