Description

Ferula penninervis (also called 'Feather-Nerve Giant Fennel', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the carrot family. It is native to the Middle East and grows in dry grasslands and open woodlands. It has a large, erect stem and can grow up to 2m tall. The leaves are large and divided into many leaflets. The flowers are small and yellow and are clustered in umbels.
