Description

Elaeosticta hirtula (also called Hairy Elaeosticta, among many other common names) is a small to medium-sized evergreen tree or shrub that is native to South Africa. It has a rounded crown and grows up to 6 m tall. Its leaves are leathery, dark green, and have a hairy surface. It is found in forest margins, bushveld, and along streams in its native region.
