Centella abbreviata (also called Abbreviated Centella, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the Mediterranean region and Central Asia. It grows in wet, marshy habitats, and has small, white flowers and long, narrow leaves.

The flowers of Centella abbreviata are small and white, with four petals and four sepals. The seeds are small, brown and oval in shape. The seedlings are thin and have a single stem.
