Description
Anthoceros scariosus (also called Anthoceros scariosus, among many other common names) is a species of liverwort in the family Lejeuneaceae. It is a small, green, thallose liverwort with a flat, creeping thallus. It is native to the tropical regions of South America and Africa, and is found in humid, shady habitats.

Cultivation and propagation of Anthoceros scariosus is best done in moist, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade. It can be propagated by division or by seed.
