Description
Anthoceros cristatus (also called Crested hornwort, among many other common names) is a small, aquatic, non-vascular plant. It is native to tropical Africa and is found in shallow, still water bodies. It has a small, green, horn-like thallus with a single, large, air-filled chamber.
Cultivation and Propagation
Anthoceros cristatus can be propagated by spore germination. Cultivation is best done in a moist environment, with temperatures between 10-20°C. It can be grown on a variety of substrates, including sand, soil, and moss.
