Description
Anthoceros brunnthaleri (also called Common Hornwort, among many other common names) is a small, aquatic, hornwort species that is native to Europe, Asia, and North America. It has a simple thallus with a single row of cells and a single row of sporangia. It grows in shallow, freshwater habitats, such as ponds, streams, and lakes.

Anthoceros brunnthaleri can be propagated by spore germination. Cultivation is best done in a moist environment, with temperatures between 10-20°C. It can be grown on a variety of substrates, including sand, soil, and moss.
